Help!

Hello Blogging Friends!
**************************************************

Comment or follow my blog and I'll do the same for you.
I'm always excited to make new friends in the blogosphere!
**************************************************
Second,
I'm in a costume crisis...
again.

Last year, I mentioned to my friend Melissa (the day before the Halloween party) that Sean and I still had no costumes. She promptly invited me to her basement to look through bins of vintage clothes. (Most of them from her family.) After two minutes of searching she handed me a stack of clothes and said, “Here, wear this.”
And 24 hours later… here we were:

The costumes were a hit and I had an absolute blast spending the night in true vintage clothes, pretending to have the type of hair I've always wanted, and trying to dance like John Travolta every chance I got.

This year, we’re in the same position.  The Halloween party is 24 hours and we still have nothing.  While our friends are sewing, stitching, ordering, and planning, Sean and I are relying on the fact that we work best under pressure and will come up with something… eventually.

If not, we can always put on long underwear and go as toddlers again. (2008).

If you have any ideas, please send them my way!!

In the meantime, have a safe, fun weekend, full of costumes, candy, and strangers knocking at your door after dark, begging for things that are bad for them, dressed as things they aren't.
What a bizarre tradition we have created.

Be Safe,
mae

Hey, I am following you from the Follow Fest. I thought to myself "She has cool hair in that little pic," then I saw Adoption as one of your topics - Stop the truck! We are saving for an adoption, as well! And we live in Clarksville - not really glamorous - but hubs is in the Army - we kinda have to live here. Anyway - so yay - I love finding other adoption blogs!

Oh my gosh, love the 70's Mod Squad vibe. Maybe you can sauce it up with some spandex and Latino tan and go as ballroom dancers... Enjoy the weekend!

Mae, Mae,
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the blog world! You are too cute for words. I'm not much for costumes so I wish I could help you out...but it looks like you two will come up with something awesome all on your own!
