I found these images
HERE and thought they were fairly entertaining. The maps list one good fact and one unfortunate fact about each state. For me, my state has the most caves (I guess that's a good thing?) and the most amount of sewer overflows (gross...) Which reminds me of a plumbing business my mother found one time in which their slogan was "Your sh*t is our bed and butter." Interesting.
What is your state good and awful at?
Did your facts surprise you?

Well my state's the same as yours so they're the same!
california has the most acres of organic farmland and the most smog -- not surprised about either of them, haha! ;)

Ha I really like this map, wonder if there may exist for Europe too^^
That is so interesting!!
That's neat! My state has the most organic apples, and the most invasive snails. Invasive snails? I don't think I've ever even seen a snail here.. well other than in my fish tank. Interesting :D
NC has the most organic Christmas trees, who knew??? The fact that we have the least about libraries (with more closing regularly) devastates the teacher in me:-(
So interesting!! Great post

Well, now I know why I was attacked by fire ants this weekend.

In all but one county in NJ, everyone lives within 5 miles of a Superfund site. And Newark, NJ is the capital of car theft. Detroit finally beat out Camden for most per capita murders. However, we also have the most malls per square miles and more diners than any other state...that has to count for something right?

We have both the best access to freshwater and the greatest threat from Asian carp. Neither or which is surprising and they seem rather connected. Though I'm surprised they couldn't think of something worse to say about MI than Asian carp???
This is too funny, and both Florida (where I was born) and Colorado (where I live now) are spot on.
