Abiella (rhymes with BABY-ella), is the sweet baby girl we adopted last year. She is our first child, our absolute joy, and the bravest, strongest, happiest person we know.
Abiella is from Ghana. We met her in 2011 and almost a year later we were still fighting to get her home. Finally, in the Fall of 2012 I landed on American soil with Abiella. As the plane rumbled onto the tarmac, the Ghanaian passengers cheered, and I could hardly hold back the tears. She was HOME.
Abiella has unique needs, including Cerebral Palsy and Microcephaly. She is growing more and more everyday and continues to amaze us daily with her hard work, determination, and love for life. We are so honored to walk through life with her as our precious daughter.
